Anne’s New Photo Show – Clinton, NJ
Hi Folks: I have a new show hanging at Wholesome’s Bagel House in Clinton, New Jersey (USA) featuring my dragonfly and damselfly series. Several of these “paintography” prints are currently featured on my blog. This paintography print features a male White Corporal Dragonfly at rest, perched on a dead branch at the edge of small, shallow lake, which is exactly the environment that this species prefers. You can see another branch underneath the slightly cloudy water. With their chunky bodies and white abdomins, White Corporals are a sight to behold! Wholesome’s Bagel House is located at 19 Route 22, Clinton, NJ 08809.

This looks like a sculpture to me. It’s very cool.
Thank you, F&F, Sorry I took so long to respond. A bit under the weather of late.

I second Gemma, this is a magnificent “sculpture.”
Wow! Thanks to you, too, T2T. So glad you enjoyed the photo.

Damsel or dragonfly?
Hi Sony – this one is a dragonfly. This male white corporal dragonfly holds its wings horizontal to the ground. Damselflies hold their wings together above and lined up with their abdomin. You can see an example of damselflies in my photo “Azure Bluets,” below.

This is beautiful!
Thank you, Sandy. It’s difficult not to get a great shot with dragonflies!
