Stars & Stripes & Stones
Last summer, I came across this tin American flag made of corrugated steel that was hanging on an old stone spring house when I was out for a photography drive. I like how its muted tones pick up the colors of the old stone wall. So glad to live in my country, and in the country. I hope you enjoy where you live, too, and enjoy your country. Happy 4th, fellow USAers, and happy celebrations to those of you who live in other countries, whenever your country’s birthday might come.
Cheers!

My husband and I have a number of different flags: wood, tin . . . I’d love to have this one in our collection.
Happy Independence Day, Anne.
Love this photo.
I liked it a lot. The corregated tin gives dimension to the piece. Maybe you can make one, F&F?

Nice, blog, I like all I have seen so far.
Thank you kindly, sandy. I’m afraid I haven’t been as active this summer due to schedules, but hope to get back in the swing of things later in August.
